New Boy's Name Chosen Today!

Ok, Well I'm still set on Lily Elizabeth as our girl name, but a day or two ago Tom decided he didn't really like the name Zachary anymore. So today we went on the search again for boy names. We brainstormed a list below and the winner is down at the bottom. Tom is pretty set on it. I'm fine with it. LOL you didn't think I'd tell you right up here at the beginninng did you?

Ailen
Alden
Arden
Aric
Axton
Brandon
Brent
Brian
Brock
Bowen
Carson
Cole
Conall
Conner
Cory
Dean
Devon
Dylan
Elliott
Gareth
Garren
Garrett
Garrick
Glenn
Kayne
Keith
Kelwin
Kelwyn
Kenneth
Liam
Neil
Owen
Sawyer
Stephen

And the winner is... Conner!
So it will be Conner Charles Mott for a boy. We might stick with calling him his full name, or maybe CC for short. Could call him Connie, but it just reminds me of Grandma, so too feminine for me. Thoughts?

Hi Angie---Just wanted to put my two cents in about the names for a boy. Liz and I recently watched a movie about the second crusade called "Kingdom of Heaven". Orlando Bloom played the lead character and this movie was made for the History Channel. This real hero from the past name was Balian. You and Tom check out this movie to watch----you both will I think love it.
Anyway--that's my two cents for today. I like the name Balian.
xxoo:)Love you bunches!

When did you decide on "Lily"---I thought it would be Brianna? Lily is very old-fashioned, and if she is Aries--oh my, that is too weak a name for an Aries child----are you sure? Sometimes its better to meet your little one first and then you will know what their name should be.
xxoo:)

We decided on Lily a while ago. Angela and I decided that we would each have the opportunity to name the child: Angela would name the girl with my having a veto and I would name the boy with Angela having the veto.

We felt that we needed to have names ready for our child, no matter what the sex was, to satisfy ourselves.

Angela fell in love with the name Lily and I had no objection. The full name is goin gto be Lily Elizabeth Mott if we have a girl.

I initially liked the name Zachary and Angela had no objection. I recently decided that I did not really like that name so Angela and I brainstormed for a while and came up with Conner as both of our favorites. The boy will be named Conner Charles Mott.

Both Angela and I respect any input that we recieve in regards to a name for the baby but we really have decided that these names work for us.

Thanks to all for being so understanding to two very new parents to be.

I like Lily (Like Lily Tomlin) and I also like Conner, but not Connie for short! CC is better.
Love you guys!

Well, I think you know I LOVE Lily. Conner is great too- but why do yu need to shorten it? you will be calling him or her something sappy like "my little monkey" Or your "little Conner-bear" in no time! Whatever knickname you choose will come naturally. Love you guys! Gayle

Ok --what does Conner mean or stand for? I know that CC means 'copywrite' protected or CC I know means 'closed captioned'---just kidding! :) xxoo :)

Conner is a Celtic/Gaelic name meaning Wise. But mostly it just sounds nice.

I am thinking that "Spiffy Ragman" Mott sounds really good now. I think Conner is a bit stiff sounding. We really want to have a child with a free spirit and a great sense of humor don't we? Spiffy is a great name!

What does everyone else think?

Sure honey. I like that just fine. SRM, yep the initials work out. And we can call him "Spaceman Spiff." You think up the best names. :)

I love it! I think you have finally captured the spirit of your little one! And now I think I will call him Spaceman Spiff no matter what you name him. How cool is that??!!! OOOHH- and think about what a good sports name that is- like a track star named Spiffy- too cool!
Love you guys!

I can't wait to see what you and Angie really name your baby. I know whatever name you select will be perfect----I just know this baby will be a blessing for all of us.
I know I am certainly on 'cloud 9'----can't wait! xxoo:)Mom
